Being green is the basis of our operations as we work to synchronise the mindset of all stakeholders in our communities, providing us with the opportunity to make changes to significantly reduce both our imprint and operational costs as we focus on the transition to a low carbon economy.
In 2022, Eurocommercial prioritised its focus on assessing the risks and opportunities presented by climate change. Workshops were held to gather insights from all countries and a climate change risk assessment was undertaken and technical aspects reviewed in order to better understand and manage these risks. This process has increased awareness of both long-term and immediate physical risks as well as potential transition risks that may affect the Company’s assets, retailers and communities.
